Little 1st Time Camper!
Kevin actually has a cousin that lives about 45 minutes away from us. She called and asked if we wanted to go camping with them. Our kids are about the same age and love to play together, so we knew they would love it. Plus we've lived here a whole year now and haven't been yet!

This was Ari's first time camping and she was having a blast. We all 5 slept in our big family tent and there was plenty of room. Ari got up around 3 am and thought it was morning, but around 4 I got her back to sleep with me until morning, so not bad
Kevin's cousin brought all the kids glow sticks to wear so once it got dark we could still spot the kids-what a great idea!
We were right by the lake and marina - It was such a pretty place!
and we even got to do some fishing
Scott loves fishing even when we don't catch anything. He's got his own little tackle box and knows how to change out the lures and all that...just has a blast. He also loves carrying around a backpack with all his favorite things every time we go camping
Hailey was practicing her cast and just blowing us away- She can throw out the most perfect cast..made us so proud! (Plus now we don't have to throw it out for them every time the reel it in)
I think my favorite part is that she was still wearing her pajamas :)
The campground even had a playground and everything which was super fun for the kids
I set up Ari just for a picture...she was so nervous and looks so tiny on that big swing :)
but she still thinks she's pretty big
We just had a great time! I never thought camping out here could compare with out West, but I really enjoyed it! We didn't even have any ticks or chiggers-I guess that's one benefit to picking a nice campground....when we were living in Idaho we would just drive the truck out into the woods and set up camp. You can't do that here unless you want ticks and chiggers. All in all we had an awesome time-Makes me want to cook in our dutch oven all week long :)
