Thanksgiving Break

We headed down to warmer weather and spent Thanksgiving in Las Vegas! All the girls were there with their spouses and kiddos. My Aunt Patty even came with her husband and brought my Grandma Lill. It was such a fun weekend!

 It was a really fun weekend! Thanks Grandpa and Grandma for opening up your home to all our craziness and for all the yummy food! 😋

Last of November Happenings

Scott earned his arrow of light in Cubscouts which I guess is the only award you get to take with you to Boyscouts and wear on your uniform. They made a big deal and really honored him which was really neat! It was his last Cubscout pack meeting as he moves onto 11 year old scouts in just a few weeks!

The part where the new 11 year old scout leader gets to welcome him to the troop...which just so happens to be his Dad. They are going to have a lot of fun!

Folding up the flag. We had an entire night dedicated to the service men and women and it was really touching. They had a ceremony with the pledge of allegiance in the dark with a flashlight and they also had a really neat honor they read as they folded the flag. Awesome night

So proud of Scott! He works so hard at his scouts stuff. And of course he was thrilled he got to keep this arrow! So awesome!

Kevin took this with a filter up at Beaver Mountain when we got the kids ski gear rentals...so cute!! They are patiently waiting now for the snow to come!

We did go iceskating the other day though for a fun family night

Jay was not a happy camper so I didn't get any pictures of him. He didn't last long then he kicked off his skates and played on the bleachers. I'm not sure why because last time he LOVED it! Oh well- you win some and you loose some!

Shhhh...don't tell Dad but we have trained our outdoor cat Felix that he can come in IF he sits nicely on the edge of the couch. Arianna even read him some books today. We only let him sneak in to get warm every now and then. ;)
