The snow melted and for a few days we had some sunshine.
Hailey had to settle with making these itty bitty snowbabies lol

But collectively, this is Hailey and Jay's favorite thing to do

Because Hailey was switched to afternoon kindergarten and Ari has morning preschool, these two have a lot of mornings together

Two peas in a pod I tell you! 

Jay sure loves his big sis Hailey. You can just tell in the way he looks at her and always wants to be around her...just adorable

Then there are these things...everybody else have these little rubber bands strung around their homes? I guess it's a good thing because it's been a freezing winter and has given Hailey and Scott something to do inside. 

They are pretty awesome though! And they don't need a loom- they just make up their own designs

 Jay loves them too!

This one is quite mischievous....last week he got out my flour bucket and moved it to the fridge to push the water spout and flood my kitchen. Then while I was cleaning that up he managed to book it into my bathroom and came walking down the hall sucking on my brand new mascara with a complete black mouth, teeth, and tongue. We can't keep our eyes off of him for one minute. Trouble. Trouble. Trouble.

I couldn't resist posting this Valentine I did with the kids. Just too cute AND quite hilarious trying to pull off I might add

Happy Valentine's Day

Arianna turned 4 yesterday!

  She wanted a Doc McStuffins party and cake

 and pizza too of course- as no birthday party is complete without pizza at our house :)

We also watched lots of Doc McStuffins shows. She kept twirling (she doesn't run...it's usually some type of leap or glide lol) around the house yelling, "Best Birthday EVER! Ever ever!"

One of my favorite facial features of Ari's is her curled up eyelashes. So adorable

 Her Stats:

41 inches tall and 34 pounds

 I couldn't resist a flashback to her 1st birthday

 She wanted a chocolate cake with white, pink and purple frosting. Pink and purple are her favorite colors. Blowing out her candles!

 She was so excited to open her presents of course!

 Arianna is her own little person. I would love to get into her little mind and see what she's thinking. She is so imaginative and can often be found talking to herself (or Kevin always jokes that maybe she isn't really by herself since she has always had quite the spiritual side lol) 

She loves all things girly- dancing, singing and putting on shows, princesses and lately she has been really into Doc McStuffins although nobody will ever replace Little Mermaid in this little girls world. She loves to swim, color and paint and has really been enjoying preschool twice a week as well. 

We played a game of "who knows Ari best" and here were her answers of her Favorite things-

Snow Snow and More Snow!

We have been getting dumped on here in Cache Valley! Soooo much snow!

 Hailey is so funny because I say she's a beach bum, but she's also a little snow bunny too. All the kids love being out in the snow. I wish I shared their enthusiasm lol

 Our ward also had a ski night on Friday. What should have taken 45 minutes took 90 to get there and they even closed down the canyon because of a few semi truck accidents. Rumors were flying that we were going to have to spend the night at Beaver Mountain, but luckily that wasn't the case! 

Scott and Hailey got to ski for their first time and even got a semi private lesson (probably because the other people were stuck in the canyon)

 They didn't even complain about the snow dumping down...they were having a great time! After the lesson they just kept skiing on the bunny hill and Kevin and I took turns watching them.

This is called the magic carpet- takes the kids up to the top!

The kids had a blast for hours and got to stay up way past their bedtime

 Jay took a little nap in the lodge and then we headed home

 We put the kids to bed around 10 pm and then decided to shovel the 10 inches that was left on our driveway while we were gone skiing. I got tired of shoveling and decided to start rolling, so we came up with this to surprise the kids in the morning :)

 Jay is struggling with the one nap business. Sometimes he just can't make it until after lunch and this happens. But if he does take a nap in the morning he gets up at 5:30 am, so it's a work in progress

This little cutie turns 4 this Sunday! Pretty crazy!

Even though the super bowl was a complete bust, we still had a great weekend. Kevin and I celebrated our 11th Anniversary!!!! We went to a really yummy resturaunt and stuffed ourselves and then instead of getting their dessert, we went next door to a pizza joint and got FH'zookies for dessert! So yum!
