Skiing

I can't believe January is almost over! Where does the time go? We have been skiing 8 times and it's been so much fun. It really does make the winter go by faster the past two seasons we have done it. (Okay Kevin you win) And our ski resort is so economical for families. They only charge $110 for a season pass for kids which is crazy. There's no reason not to! This is only the kids second season skiing, but they have caught on so fast. Scott moved up to level 5, Hailey level 4, And Arianna and Jay to level 3. Pretty awesome. They have passed me up for sure!

There's no service on the mountain so it's just pure family time. Most the time it goes without a hitch, last week I took them twice by myself without Kevin. One went perfectly, the other was disastrous. Scott got lost from his group during lessons. I told him he did it on purpose so that I wouldn't have to ski by myself. I tried to make a comeback with him but he was just ruined for the day. I actually ended up sending him home with his basketball coach so he could calm down enough before his game. So then the other three and I decided to do one more last run before we headed to the basketball game. We were all following Arianna but Jay took a wrong turn and I had to follow him and then Hailey followed me. Long story short Arianna was lost and we were looking for eachother for 40 minutes and it was traumatizing to say the least for the both of us :( 

Other than that incident and a bathroom accident with Jay, it's been a blast! haha

The kids have taken lessons the last 4 Saturdays, which means lots of couple time too!

It finally snowed right before Christmas! Yay!

We also got a fun visit from our Missouri friends the Bauers. Always love when I get to see this beautiful face! Miss her like crazy!

Sarra has 6 kiddos and 5 of them came with her up to Cache valley. My kids had a blast playing with everyone

Especially Jay. He took a liking to Gus. He kept calling him the "already teenager" lol. Where's the "already teenager?" I think because the kids use to call their cousin TJay the "almost teenager" lol

For New Years Eve we went to our joint friend Kim's house for a fun get together with 4 families. We really thought we would only stay til 8 at the latest, but our kids were having such a great time with all the kids, and Kevin found out that the guy from one of the other couples actually served the same mission as Kevin at the same time. So they got to talking and we knew we were going to be staying until the clock struck the new year :) My kids are still asking when they get to go back to that fun teenager house lol. Hailey was having way too much fun eavesdropping on the boys and reporting their every move to the 4 moms upstairs.

Love these girls they are the best!
