Christmas!

Christmas Eve

We decided to switch things up and let the kids open up one present on Christmas Eve morning instead of after dinner. 

All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth!

We have had many fun parties on our bed in the morning...so fun. 

Dinnertime- the girls decorated the table complete with candles and homemade place tags

We got up early (per usual) and saw what Santa brought us. Then we had some breakfast (complete with a selfie from my new selfie stick lol)

Then we got dressed for church. I love church on Christmas. It just makes it more meaningful for sure!

Then back into jammies and back to opening presents!

We played downstairs all day and just hung out. Hailey put her new cooking things to work right away! 

Around dinnertime we got a ring at the door and it was Grandpa and Grandma!

They stayed and played with us for a few days. It was like 0 degrees outside!!! So we couldn't do much except puzzles, games, play with new toys and we also went to see SING. Such a cute movie. Thanks for visiting with us Gpa and Gma! Super fun!

I can't believe the year is over already! We had a wonderful Christmas month. We did a lot of neat things as a family, and were able to relish in the true meaning and spirit of Christmas celebrating the birth of our Savior Jesus Christ. 

Here's to a new year!

On the last day of school we invited friends over to decorate sugar cookies

We also took a drive to look at Christmas lights, had lots of cider and hot cocoa, made some fun crafts, played games, put together puzzles, and had lots of movie nights. 

And of course whats December without tons of playing in the snow? Kids can't get enough of it. We had to take them sledding over Christmas Break. We wanted to do it when my parents were here, but it was only a few degrees outside!! (no thank you!)

And then there's Hailey...she loves to jump!

I don't love living in cold country...but every time we go sledding with the kids we have a blast. We just play and laugh and have so much fun together. Scott and I got into a pretty heated snowball fight. I'm pretty sure I won, but probably depends on who you ask ;)
