We got to spend all of last week with my family down in Crystal Cove California (right between Laguna Beach and Newport Beach)

I took over 500 pictures, so here are just a few of my favorites! We mostly just lugged everything down to the beach every day. The kids could dig in the sand every day. Pure heaven. The weather was perfect too!

Scott loves to be out in the waves, and usually the only one willing to go with him is Uncle Rick. I did go a few times and then after being beatup by a few waves I would start going back tot he shallow and Scott would yell at me, "Come on Mom! You are running away again!!" lol

Kevin was pretty miserable the whole time. He has a herniated disk in his back that started acting up again after 9 plus months of being totally fine. He passed out in the sun and I was worried about his face so I threw my hat on him too. He didn't even notice. Completely out!
We eat out at soooo many yummy places. Crab cooker is pretty awesome but Big Fish in Laguna is pretty awesome too
And of course Rubys up above Crystal Cove is always a favorite of the kids

Another kid favorite- Candy store on Balboa Island! Jay grabbed his basket of treats and walked right out the door and started heading down the street. He's like, "Thanks for the basket of free candy-see ya!" lol
We thought this was cool- born the same year. Grandpa asked which aged better him or the car haha. Hailey's a smart girl- she said you Grandpa!

It's always a little crazy with everyone, but always worth it and so much fun! So glad my parents do it every year so that the cousins can all get to know each other so good.
Grandpa hasn't got to come the last few years because he was swamped with work. We were all overjoyed that he got to come with us this year! So much fun! And then Grandma didn't have to handle all 10 grandkids herself. Everything was great! Awesome week!
