Tubing!!

A few days after Christmas we decided to check out Cache Valley's newest ski resort. They said they had a tube park. It was only one run, so Kevin and I were disappointed that they called it a "tube park", but the kids still had a lot of fun and it turned out to be a really fun family day!

Ari only made it down half the hill and stopped. So from then on I tethered her tube to mine and we became tubing buddies. It was really fun!

Jay was insistent on having his own tube, so Kevin tethered with him. He was yelling at Kevin, "Let me go!!"  the entire time, so once he got half way he would push him off on his own.

See the line behind the kids? If we go again it will definately have to be when kids are in school so we don't have to wait around so much! But still, super fun day!

Merry Christmas!!

Hope everyone had a Merry Christmas!!

Christmas Eve dinner with Cornish hens, mashed potatoes and the rest of the feast. 

Then it was time for everyone to open up their one gift. 

My kids are catching on now, it's not really a surprise anymore. lol

New jammies! What an awesome surprise! lol

Before bed we watched the Nativity movie. We did a 12 days of Nativity earlier in the month reading from the scriptures. That was fun too.  Then everyone piled into Scott's bedroom for a Christmas Eve sleepover. This just ensures our sneaker outers stay put. That and a card board trapped across the hallway. Scott informed us that every year he has woken up at 1 am, went down to see what Santa brought him and then went back to bed. And then in the morning would tell the girls before they had a chance to see! What a stinker!!

After ripping through their stockings and seeing what Santa brought, we ate some breakfast and then went back downstairs to open up our presents. We usually just get the kids one present and then they each get eachother something too. So most of the excitement comes watching their siblings open the present they got and wrapped for eachother. So cute

Scott found a little knitting machine for Hailey all by himself. He found it and brought it to me telling me he thinks Hailey would just love it. So he got it and was so proud. She opened it and was so excited! She has a friend down the street that knits by hand. Hailey said, "no way!? I'M GOING TO RULE THE WORLD!!" haha

Santa brought Scott a lego technic truck with suspension and working headlights and a wench. He doesn't ever ask for help he just digs his head into the instructions and comes up to show his progress. This was just the motor and insides before he got the outside down.

The rest of the day we just lived down in the basement watching movies and playing with all the kids new toys and games and just hanging out

Merry Christmas everyone!

We went to see Santa at our mall a few weeks before Christmas. 

My kids honestly never ask for anything...they always say whatever you think is cool. Santa said that was an awesome attitude. Except Jay...he said he would like a car track that flips around. lol Santa also told the girls that they would have to give their Daddy butterfly kisses every night before bed from now until next Christmas to be on the nice list ;)
