We had a super fun low key Christmas again this year. I just love the Christmas season and all the traditions it brings. I also love just having a day to enjoy being together as a family (and staying in our jammies all day).
Hailey wrote quite a few notes to Santa early on that she wanted this moped. I kept telling her it wasn't going to happen but apparently she has been a good girl all year long because that's what Santa brought her. She was so excited

This year we decided to draw names (kids' idea) and make one present for them (also kids' idea) So they each got one present besides Santa's. So they were pretty excited about presents from Grandma and Grandpa and Grammy. This is Jay opening one of his presents and saying, "Finally! Something good!" LOL Such a stinker!

So we made presents and it was such a fun experience. The kids already voted that they want to do it again next year. Ari painted square blocks and glued them together tetris shape style with magnets. She also made him a cute card
They have a little program at school where the kids can bring their own money and the lady teaches them how to make keychains or necklaces to teach them how to give meaningful gifts. Hailey did this for Ari since she drew her name and made her a cute necklace.
Kevin made Jay a marshmallow gun which was a huge hit!
And I helped supervise Scott build this tie rack for Kevin. It turned out awesome! I also made Hailey's doll some outfits since I drew her name and she loved that. And of course I got some cute bracelets Jay made me.
Lots of love is what we felt which is probably why they want to do it again. It was such a fun experience.
