Trick Or Treat!! Halloween 2015

The kids got to dress up for school on Friday which is always fun.

On Saturday we did a ton of yard work and then we took the kids to main street. When we lived in Nibley we trick or treated the old main businesses every year. But we haven't gone in many years because they have been in school. So I was thrilled to get to do that this year. Something about the old historic main street and seeing the community dressed up in the sunshine. Love it!

Arianna wanted to be a princess (anyone surprised?) which worked out perfectly for the knight costume Jay found!

 I dressed up again this year with them as a punk rocker

 and Kevin's always willing to throw on a wig or anything else we tell him to lol

 Out and about in the neighborhood. 

Jay and I made one lap around to fill up his little bat bag, and then we came home to pass out candy. I always love seeing the neighborhood kids dressed up.

 The older three went around for another hour to get their loot

 So much fun! Love it! 

Pumpkin Carving

Carving Pumpkins! Jay kept saying how he wanted to cut all the "guts" out of the pumpkin and couldn't wait to "see the guts!" We thought for sure once he saw how gooey they were he'd change his mind, but he was still just as excited :)

Still Hailey is the only one who just digs in without using any spoons. So funny. 

 Arianna decided to paint hers. But then when she saw hers didn't light up, she did come back in and do a little carving so that she could have one glow too

 I helped Jay carve a  smiling jack-o-lantern, but then he got a little carving happy and cut it up in several places. He was having a blast. So proud of himself!

Scott did his all by himself! Turned out great!

Greenbay!

Kevin had to go to Greenbay for a week, and I got to go along with him. We even were able to score some pretty awesome tickets to the Packers game, so of course that was kind of the highlight of the trip!

People in Greenbay are awesome- they paint their houses, fences, and anything else they can to show their Packers pride. So much fun to walk around before the game and see all the tailgaters and proud Greenbay fans :)

am a huge Greenbay Packers fan, but not since birth or anything! lol 

 I never was into football growing up and in fact I think I only went to 1 football game in highschool. It wasn't until we moved to Missouri about 5 years ago that I finally understood the game and fell in love with the game!!  I keep telling Kevin he must choose between the Broncos and the Packers but he won't- he loves them both lol 

It's all Packers for me though! Even more now that I got to go to the Hall of Fame and learn about the history of the team. Pretty amazing!

We sat right behind the Packers team. We were sitting by all the season pass holders so it was pretty funny. The fans are all like family, so of course they knew we weren't locals. They were a lot of fun. The game goes super fast when you are there! We played the Chargers and I wanted it to go into overtime just so it wouldn't end. If I would have said that out loud I would have gotten thrown out by the 78,000 fans that were there. 

27 to 20 was close enough! Go Packs!

Kevin had classes all week and I got to have some relaxing time to myself reading and shopping and checking out the town. On Friday he got off early so we drove down to Sturgeon Bay and Egg Harbor. Sooooo beautiful!!!

We found this little neighborhood in Egg Harbor that was deep in the woods with waterfront property. Gorgeous. I am picturing Maine being a lot like this.

I was on a mission to find this bridge from the picture I saw on the internet, so we went over to Sturgeon Bay and found it ;)

And then ate at this yummy waterfront Italian restaurant called Sonnys. It was a perfect night to end a perfect week! :)

Thanks Grammy for watching the kiddos all week! Straight ticket to heaven for that one! lol Oh except that she was here in Logan buying them Broncos gear! Boo!! haha

The kids didn't have school on a Friday a few weeks ago, so I thought it would be fun to take them to a park and take some pics. I always want new pics when fall comes around!

I already took a bunch of Jay for his birthday, so he wasn't haven't any of it! Plus we had a cat following us around that had him a bit distracted lol

I thought they turned out pretty darn cute! I just love this time of year! And like I said before-I love these kids of mine!!!
