A few weeks ago the kids had Thursday and Friday off of school for Fall Break, so we decided to take a little drive over to Boise for fun and for a change of scenery
First stop was the zoo. The kids always LOVE the zoo!

Discovery Museum
Before we left I got to do some shopping at an awesome outdoor mall while Dad entertained the kids at Toys R Us! Such a good husband isn't he! :)
It was a fun little get away. Kevin has been working a crazy amount of hours lately so we just wanted to enjoy some family time. It was great!
Back in Cache Valley- Kevin took the kids fishing. Jay got a fishing pole for his birthday and was so excited to use it. I think he reeled in 3 fish! And Scott reeled in 2. Jay even broke his line on the last one. He thought his fishing pole was ruined for good, so that was a relief when we told him it was a quick fix.
Raking some neighbors leaves to get some sunshine in. We have so many leaves around here because all our neighbors have maple trees. So the kids actually embraced a chance to do some service. They were just excited to play in the leaves! (Well everyone except Jay)
Just a snap from my cellphone. Jay is always passing out everywhere. Last Sunday I was lounging watching some football and Jay came to "cuddle". But that's the thing with this kid...he goes soooo fast 24 hours a day, the minute he stops he drops (must have inherited that from his Grandpa B!) The cute part was that he had his little babydoll with him. He doesn't bring out the doll often but for the last few weeks he has been taking care of her and she even has a little bed next to his. So adorable.
