Hailey has always been obsessed with arts and crafts, but lately I can't keep her busy enough on my sewing machine. I found my practice sheets from teaching the high school classes where she sews along paper to practice starting, stopping, turning, corners, etc. She has made a dozen purses and miniature blankets for her stuffed animals. Yesterday she made this cute pillow. All I did was pin it together and she did the rest.

(Oh and check out the missing tooth! She lost her front tooth this week- #3)

Pretty amazing! I think she definitely has the knack for it. I let Scott take a swing the other night to make these tooth pillows and the kid almost gave me a heart attack lol

Most of my pictures turned out blurry, but here's one from Hailey's kindergarten program she had this week. 

 Hailey's teacher made them each a little scrapbook with pictures she took during the year-

so cute!

 Each week they could bring an object that started with the letter and for "T" Hailey brought her barbie "toilet" complete with it's own "toilet paper". Her teacher, and the entire class thought it was the funniest thing ever-and of course this class clown ate it up. (look how tiny she looks! She's changed so much this year!!)

 Arianna also had a cute little preschool program complete with little crayon hats

And here's this little cutie getting a hair cut. How come my 19 month old is a better sport about hair cuts than my 8 year old? So adorable. He just sits there (with a worried little look, but sits there) and lets me buzz his hair-crazy. This is actually at the end because I wanted to leave the middle really long :)

We have one week left of school until its summer for us! We have already been living outside, especially me with trying to get our garden planted and all of that. I have been in the garden 3+ hours a day just weeding and getting it ready and finally it's weed free and completely planted. The kids are right there with me digging in the sandbox or like last weekend, trying to bomb me with water balloons while I work! I'm super excited about our garden and we decided to go with a soaker hose watering system, so we'll see how it goes!

Girls Dance!

Here are the girls' dance pictures we got back

Arianna couldn't get enough- this was both the girls first time taking lessons, but Arianna just LOVED it!

Unfortunately it hasn't been a great year for Hailey, but I think had she been with a different group of girls she might have liked it. She just didn't feel like she had any friends and was told by some of them that she didn't "belong" in dance. (Mind you, they are 6!) She stuck through the last 5 months because I told her she needed to finish.

 They both were super excited about their costumes and getting all dolled up for their concert last night

 And of course all little girls love the stage makeup!

 So beautiful! These girls are blessed with their daddy's long eyelashes:)

 The lighting was horrible, especially for the video camera. Hailey danced to "American Honey". She looks mad but she was just concentrating soooo hard watching her teacher off to the side of the stage.

This was my favorite- Hailey was in the front of the lineup when they came unto stage and for good reason too-she was awesome! You could tell she really enjoyed this one. :)

Arianna did a ballet to "Once Upon A Dream"

 and a tap dance to "Goodship Lollipop"

 Oh man I was glowing with pride seriously! They both did such an amazing job! 

The finale was to "Happy" and I swear when the audience was applauding Arianna thought it was all for her. She basked and glowed in the attention oh boy.

Daddy brought them each flowers back stage.

What a night! Good job girls!!!

I had a great Mother's Day with these little rascals. They made me a yummy breakfast that I requested- Nutella stuffed french toast with strawberries and butter syrup (making me hungry thinking about it again)

Scott and Hailey got up in sacrament and sang the Mother's Day songs. Arianna spent most of that hour throwing fits and taking a much deserved time out with me in the hall. When she did go up to the podium she spent it sulking and crying until they lifted her down and brought her to me. Ahhhh Motherhood- isn't it just so fun? :) 

Then of course all the cute little things from school, and they also planted flower seeds into all my planters. It was just a fun day with the family. 

I do consider being a mother the greatest gift that I have been given, and I am so so so grateful every single day that Heavenly Father has entrusted me with these 4 sweet spirits. I just love them to pieces!

This is the last week of soccer games and practices-
I think Jay is excited about that

Arianna isn't quite ready for sports yet. We played as a family on Saturday and she cried every time someone "took" the ball from her and would throw herself on the grass and scream. So glad I saved myself from that embarrassment this year....maybe next year! lol

Hailey is such a goof ball seriously

Hailey scored a goal last week and was pretty excited about that

 Saturday we had soccer games, dance pictures and then we spent the rest of the day in the garage getting all of the bikes ready to ride (including all the neighborhood boys' bikes as well- thanks Kevin! You are the greatest!)

Hailey decided she wanted nothing to do with her barbie bike (yes, the one that she begged us for just last year...good thing Ari will grow into it soon!!!) and so Dad fixed up Scott's old huffy bike for her to ride. She is thrilled that she gets to ride a boys bike. 

 Jay loves to work in the garage. Loves it. Dad isn't so happy about him digging through all of his tools, but Jay is sure happy about it! :)

 To be fair, he digs in all my jewelry too....so we are even :)

We even rode to the park for a picnic dinner and spent the night playing bocce, soccer and frisbee together. It was a perfect Saturday! (even the weather for once)

I can't get over how gorgeous this girl is. Luckily most of the time she hides behind boy clothes and a ponytail....so we can keep her a secret from the boys. Plus I'm sure if one of them tried to make a move on her, she'd punch them. lol
