ARIANNA'S 10TH BDAY

 Arianna had such a fun time celebrating her birthday with Grandpa and Grandma this year during our ski trip. They even brought along with them her very favorite chocolate bundt cake!

Ari is always giggling. You can tell from this picture, but especially when there is attention on her it's all giggles and blushing cheeks. Such a sweetie pie.

I don't know when it started, but it's kind of tradition around here to give a hug to the giver every time you open a present. Those are my favorite moments to catch on camera...so much love

For her birthday dinner she wanted spaghetti and breadsticks

It was a great day! I can't believe she's already 10. Arianna is such a pillar of strength for those around her. She's a friend to everyone, friend or fur (even if they are just stuffed). She feels all things deeply in her big heart she has. She's super smart and I learn so much from her because she knows so much! Mostly from reading books and looking up facts about different things on the computer. She's just beautiful, inside and out. We are so lucky and blessed to have her in our family!

FEBRUARY- Trip to Brian Head

We took the most epic trip to Brian Head, and my parents met us there. My Dad was able to borrow a good friends cabin, and I told my mom I would do all the cooking for the weekend. We learned from last time that there aren't a lot of options for good food up there. :) Our ski passes we have here in Logan are also good for free passes to Brian Head, so it's always fun to use those up. It was also Arianna's birthday weekend. Just epic! We had a fabulous time! 

I think my kids would agree that their grandma and grandpa are pretty cool and hip to be able to go skiing with them!

Skiing is our place where we come together as a family and put away all distractions to be together. We get to talk side by side sitting on the lift, and giggle and laugh with eachother as we ski down. We were so happy that my parents could come share that with us. It was the best!
