Sibling Love

Scott is excited to become a big brother very soon. Today I realized that instead of anxiously and impatiently wanting this baby to come, I really need to step back and enjoy these last few weeks as a family of three with Scott. Things are really going to change in the Riggs' home...

Big Hugs for Hailey!



November 29, 2007
Today while Scott was eating his cereal, he decided to dump the bowl with milk and cereal right onto the table. I didn't even get a chance to say anything when he said himself, "Scott Denver!" I thought I was going to have this baby I was laughing so hard! I didn't think I ever called him by his middle name, but apparently there was a time when I did and he remembered it was for something bad that he had done! How funny!

Thanksgiving Break

We had a great Thanksgiving break because we finally got to spend some time with dad on a normal schedule! Since Hailey's due date is very close, we were on strict orders to stay home. Here's our small Thanksgiving for three...

Kevin took Scott down to the Ogden area while I stayed home and got some Christmas decorations finished! (big stars for Kevin!) They spent the day with a good college buddy Tim and his family (some of you might remember him from our wedding...big laughs!)
Of course we decorated for Christmas too! This year we decided to skip the fancy tree and do something fun....we choose snowmen and Scott loves them already! I added some candy canes to the tree after these pics were taken, but already we have a candy cane thief in the house!

While Scott and Kevin were gone for the day, my friend Mel and I made stalkings. I can't wait for next year when our basement is finished and we can hang them on the fireplace mantel.

November Thus Far

November so far has been pretty slow paced. Scott pretty much spends most of his time playing around the house and if it's warm enough he will play for hours outside in the dirt with his tractors. If dad is working on the basement, Scott is working right along with him. Every Tuesday we go to storytime at the library and every Friday he has a "play date" with his two buddies Jackson and Walker, which he looks forward to all week long.

We decorated the nursery finally last weekend and we are all anxiously awaiting for baby Hailey to get here! 3 weeks and counting...hopefully sooner rather than later!

Halloween

Scott was a skunk for Halloween and we got to trick or treat to the shops on main street and then dad took him later around to our neighborhood. Ofcourse he did all of this with his two best buds Walker and Jackson. He loved saying, "Tricky Treat" at each door.

Month of October

In the month of October we took a trip a few hours South and spent the weekend with the Blaser's at a friend of the fam's cabin. Scott had a blast riding around (slowly and safely, I promise) on the four-wheelers and Kevin was on cloud nine riding around on Grandpa Scott's motorcycle. Here are some of the pics from our trip!
