It's back to school time for Scott and Hailey 

(Arianna starts in September)

It's so fun that these two get to be in the same school and they get to ride their bikes together to and from. 

Scott is a big 3rd grader this year!! So hard to believe!

I swear this kid grew this summer! I did measure him tonight and he grew 2 1/2 in 6 months, so I was right!

And Hailey is in 1st this year. 

 1st grade is the hardest on me just because that's when they go to all day school (except Scotts was kindergarten when he went all day). I'm just going to miss this sweet little thing! She is truly my little shadow and I'm not sure I'll know what to do without her! 

 Hailey wanted me to walk them in on the first day, so I was able to snap a picture of them at their doors. Hailey got Ms. Jensen this year which was Scott's 1st grade teacher and just happens to be the sweetest most awesome teacher in the school! :)

 And Scott was so excited about getting Mrs. Bowman. I asked him if he had ever met her and he said, "No, I've just seen her before and she's the one I wanted" lol

This sunflower Hailey brought home in a little cup the last week of kindergarten and we had to transplant it next to our mailbox. She has been having fun giving it TLC :)

 Jay is moving up in the world and getting so big. He has never been a huge talker and usually just says, "night night, mama, and dad" Well one day a week ago he just woke up and started speaking fluently. It was hilarious. He is OBSESSED with trucks and so every time we are in the car he yells at the top of his lungs, "Truck!! Car!!! TRACTOR!" lol

He is going to be 2 soon! Crazy!

On the first day of school Arianna got invited to play at a friends house, so I took the opportunity to get lunch at Costa Vida- which just so happens to be Jay's favorite place to eat! I usually just feed him off my plate but for this special occasion I got him his own kids meal. I took this picture from my phone and you can tell he is pretty excited about his lunch date with mom! :)

Arianna is enjoying the quiet time with Mom for a few more weeks. She kept asking me "when does Hailey's school start?" lol She was excited to rule the roost! She gets to start preschool after Labor Day

Montana ....heaven on earth

From the Blaser reunion we headed straight to Montana with kayaks and all. My sister in law Kelli's husband Jess grew up in Livingston and his family has a place in Paradise Valley.

Well named isn't it? This picture was taken the night we got there from the porch from my bro in law Chris. 

All the cousins lined up in their church slicks Sunday. From Kevin's family it was his sister Kelli and her family, brother Chris and his family, Grammy and then our family. Kenny and Carson weren't able to make it. (Missed you guys!)

Monday morning we got up and hiked the Pine Creek Falls trail. 

Livingston Montana was the first trip Kevin and I took together when we were dating so it brought back a lot of fun memories. Last time we hiked the trail we were a newly dating couple and this time we had 4 kids trailing along with us! lol Time flies!

For family home evening Monday night we barbecued and had a dance party in the pavilion complete with a disco ball. The kids had a blast

Scott had so much fun tagging along with TJay. He looks up to him a ton and just enjoys being around a big boy cousin since he is the oldest boy on my side.

Monday rained all day and it was suppose to rain like that all week, so Tuesday we saw a break in the clouds and hit the river!

The rest of the week we went/did

 floating some more, fishing, shooting, art in the pavilion, walks, rides on the Ranger, playing in the pirate tree house, tons of forts in the basement, and just fun and laughs

The best week ever seriously. The kids acted completely shocked when we told them we were headed home on Friday. I guess a week is not enough when you get to roam free on over 30 acres lol. We all had a great time. Thanks Kelli and Jess for letting us come crash your summer home! :)

On our way home we stopped by Grandma Lill's since Kevin and I missed out on the barbecue. I hate saying bye to Grandma....she is the sweetest!

Reunion and July Happenings

I came home from Las Vegas and California with lots of work to do in my garden. This picture is AFTER I took out 4 rows of peas and a half a row of romaine. I have been so proud of my cute little garden!

Hailey came outside one morning and said, "You are in the garden again!! It's like a bad dream" lol 

Everything I did from seed except for the tomato plants. 

One weeks supply of pickins...my personal favorite is the flowers the girls planted. It has been fun having fresh flowers on our table each week. We have been eating tons of veggies, froze a ton of peas and canned 40 jars of green beans ;)

Then we had Candice, Rick, Mia and Kellan come up on July 29th and spent a few days with us. We had fun taking them to our favorite park and little river walk. 

They also got to go to one of Scott's pack meetings for Scouts and it happened to be a rain gutter regatta!

and Scott took 1st place in the race with his cool pirate boat! He said it was his cheering crowd that got him 1st place :)

Also Scott earned his Wolf badge, a gold arrow point, and belt loops (archery and bb gun) Good Job Scott!

Then Breanne and her boys showed up on Thursday afternoon along with my Dad which was a fun surprise. The kids had soooo much fun with Grandpa and Uncle Rick walking the river. Did I say walking? They should have known better than that- of course all the kids jumped in! lol

 And Hailey lost her other front tooth so now she has 3 top teeth missing at once! Ready for the 1st grade!

Thursday night we all went out to eat, came back to our house to play and then we built a fire and let the kids roast marshmallows. It was a super fun night for sure!

Friday my Dad, Candice and Bre headed to Rexburg to hang out with the Rydalchs and they took Scott and Hailey with them.

Then Saturday we all headed to Heise hot springs for the Blaser family reunion. It was great to see everyone, especially my sweet grandma Rosemary! She has Alzheimer disease and so it was really sad that she didn't remember us girls :(
