I'm back and need to post the zillion pictures from the beach but don't know when I'll have time, so for now you get one of my favorite pictures from our trip!

Seriously the cutest girl in the world! We went to the Orange County fair in California and had a blast, but Ari was too short for the rides, so my mom went and got her face painted. She loved it so much and would give you this million dollar grin any time you looked at her. She slept with it and the next morning some of it had rubbed off so I washed the rest off and it was soooo sad. She kept crying, "My kitty kitty face! I want my kitty kitty face!" She loved it.

The kids are in Las Vegas swimming with their cousins before heading to Newport California on Sunday. Here's the older crew- Laith, Ari, Scott, Hailey and Mia

We only got to spend a few days with Bre before she headed back home, but we'll meet back up at the beach!

the diving board is a kid favorite for sure! They are all such great swimmers...they jump off and then swim on over to the side with no help- pretty awesome

I was really proud of Hailey. I think this was her first time without floaties or an innertube jumping off. She was also doing laps across the deepend, and Grandpa taught her how to do the breast stroke- she got it on the first try. She picks up on stuff like that really fast.

Even Ari, who wouldn't even get her face in the water before we came to Vegas. After watching the kids she sticks her whole head in and blows bubbles, and jumps off the side and goes under- so proud of her! 



Mia was so funny the first few times she was straight up and down and just did a tiny little hop. After a few warm ups Scott taught her how to do cannonballs and they were having a blast

This was cute all the kids on the turtle. The funny thing is that after we were done taking a picture, one of them fell off and then it was like a domino they flipped off on at a time

So this is what we've been doing every day all day pretty much

Uncle Rick thinks we need to get Hailey training in jitzu wrestling because of how strong her legs are and her grip. 

He's right though- she won't let go for anything. She does it to Scott all the time! LOL

Uncle Rick usually ends up getting all the attention because all the other Dads get left at home to work and he lives here. They just eat it up- they love him

Now we are headed to California for a week. After that my Mom offered to keep the kids for another week while I go back to Logan to help Kevin with the house. Hopefully we will be moved in by the end of the month- who hoo!

One morning the kids and I tie-dyed shirts for the 4th of July

Tuesday night they had a firework show at the college campus. When we lived here for 4 years before we never made it to the fireworks show....laziness I guess. We were able to watch from our new house this year- pretty fun!

 then we just had a little picnic at our new house for dinner

 Construction started at the house .... chipping out the concrete and tile in the entry

 and the flooring in the kitchen. We got a suprise visit from Kevin's Dad so that was fun. He was able to help Kevin with some stuff before he headed off to work up in Montana. The kids had fun with him even if it was just for a night.

 Then of course the car show in Cache Valley is a must. The best car show in the country, I'm just sure of it.

 I asked the kids to pick out which car from the entire line up they would choose if they could have any when they turned 16.
Hailey choose this blue truck. It had a sticker that said, "Yep- it's on steroids" :)

 Scott couldn't decide which was his favorite and I told him I would ask him at the end and to think about it. He finally decided on this jeep....fully equipped with machine gun on top of course

Arianna was so adorable. She just sat in the stroller pointing at the ones she liked and would say, "Oh I like that one!"

Just some random pictures. One day we walked over to the laundry place to do laundry and Hailey picked these yellow flowers. I went to the back room to fold the laundry and when I came back this is what I saw. She washed the table down, put the flowers in a cup with water and set it out on the table. So adorable. She wouldn't even let Scott or Ari sit there because "I just cleaned that up and made it look nice!" Haha
