Okay, enough already with the winter weather! We are so bored! Hailey is constatly bringing me her shoes and coat just begging to get out of the house, and Scott wants nothing to do with winter weather outside play. Anyone have any ideas?

All I was trying to do was take a picture of these adorable jammies from Grammy, and Hailey wasn't having any of it. This is how mad she got when I wouldn't let her have the camera. This girl is the happiest thing on earth, but when she wants something and doesn't get it, watch out! See the wood floor in our kitchen? She has hit her head many times from throwing herself onto the floor during some of these fits! Got to love her though!

In all fairness to Hailey, some of the mood swings are due to the molars she's been getting. This picture shows the bottom two pretty well, and she got the top two last week!

Scott started wanting to read Hailey a book before her nap like I do for him, so here's a video of him reading her Little Miss Muffet. He's done it every day now...well on the days she's his friend. Some days she isn't so lucky.

We couldn't get a babysitter Saturday night, so Kevin suggested for us all to go bowling. It has probably been over a year since Scott has been, and last time we had to wait 10 minutes every time just for his ball to hit the pins. Well this place finally caught on and built little ramps for the kids to perfectly throw strikes with speed. Scott had a blast!

Hailey was pretty upset that she couldn't lift the balls herself. We let her roll one and we ended up chasing her half way down the lane trying to get her ball back. She's so funny.

This place also has a soft play for only $3 and parents get to play for free. We probably played for 2 hours and had so much fun. Most the parents just watch, but not us! It's quite the workout climbing through all the tunnels!

What a fun family date night! I'm sure we'll be doing it again since we still have months before we have warm weather!

Nothing new here!Kevin has been working really long hours, and I'm just trying to keep the kids busy and happy. I'm in the habit of posting once a week now, so here's just a few pics of the kids even though I don't have much to post about!

I've been meaning to post this video for a few weeks now. We do dance parties in the basement a lot to wear the kids out before bed. Hailey absolutely loves to dance. And she's on beat most the time too. It's so cute to watch. She has such a fun personality, and she's pretty tough (thanks to her brother)

Oh and Scott is now a sunbeam! I was so mad we didn't get a picture of his first day in Primary, but he loved it. Our ward is super organized and had a breakfast to meet their new teachers the Saturday before. On Sunday he went happily to his sunbeam class and came running to my class afterwards telling me how he was a child of God. So cute! He knows the whole "Sunbeam" song too already. Time sure flys! Here's Scott flying down the slide at the park. Scott loves being outside and hates the snow, so we are really running out of things to do and winter really has just begun. Can't wait until it warms up! (I know, we still have months to go!)

Scott has been known to try on a chapstick or two, but he knows darn well not to touch my other makeup and that's why I keep it in a dresser drawer out of site. Well last night Scott was asleep at 8 pm (even before Kevin finished the book), so of course Kevin and I were enjoying our tv time downstairs. Then at about 10 pm Kevin headed upstairs and screamed my name "NICOLE! You have to come see this!" My jaw seriously dropped and I couldn't believe my own eyes! (I had to take pictures for evidence and embarrassment for later on in life) We are talking about a lot of money here in makeup ruined, not to mention the carpet stains and rugs that are permanently dyed. Kevin was pretty upset too, since after Christmas shopping he now knows it aint cheap stuff! Scott's reason for all of this? He said he had to come into my room to get his chapstick back that I stole.

Notice how happy Hailey is in this red wool coat from grandpa Riggs? Well she REFUSES to wear any coat except this one, and if you try to put on another, well...she will throw herself onto the floor and kick and scream until you put on the red one! So funny!

Scott and Hailey have been playing so well together and have to do everything together, even baths. Well the other night every time Scott would lie down, Hailey would go right next to him and when he would go onto his stomach, she was right there on hers too. So cute
