We are majorly getting some spring fever! I made it a huge effort last week to do fun things with the kids. We chipped off all the ice from the kids' picnic table and brought it inside for lunch. We had to use towels under because the legs of the table were filled with water.

After we did the dinosaur puzzle from Aunt Bre we made these dinosaurs. Mine are on the right and the two Scott made are on the left. I think he did pretty good!
Even though it is still freezing outside, we decided to go to the park anyways. We were pretty disappointed that they didn't even clear the snow, but oh well- it was still fun.

Little slide

This monster slide is Scott's favorite. We even sent Hailey down it too- she loved it!We also rode our bikes almost every day this last week. Scott still does better on his trike, and one day we even went around our subdivision twice! On our way back home a (well known to be mean) dog came running at us. I told Scott, "Just keep riding Scott. You are on a bike so it will be okay." He frantically replied back to me, "No it's NOT okay mom! I'm on a short bike!!!" I seriously laughed for 15 minutes about that one! He's so funny!

While Grammy was here visiting, her best friend here in Logan Bonnie came over a few times. She was doing this thing with Hailey where Bonnie swirls her pointer finger around saying, "Roundy, roundy, roundy" until it reaches Hailey and tickles her. Hailey was having so much fun with it. So much fun that now all week Hailey has been doing it to herself- she even tries to say "roundy" and she cracks herself up! She is so funny!

I think I officially had my favorite Valentine's Day. Kevin and I got to take a weekend getaway to San Diego, California. When we found out my sister Bre and her husband Wally were celebrating their reception over Valentine's weekend, we booked our tickets right away- along with one for Grammy Riggs to come watch the kids. We have NEVER been away from the kids, and it was so great to spend a few days with my wonderful husband. We even got to have conversation and hold each other's hands without someone climbing between us!

Grammy did such a great job with the kids while we were gone. She came a few days before we left and so she's been here for a week- the kids are sure going to miss her!

When Grammy came last week she brought these jelly bellies with her and the kids have been eating a few each day. Well yesterday I came upstairs to find Hailey, and there she sat- handfuls of jelly beans in her mouth and hands! When she wants something, she goes after it. I still haven't decided how she got them off the table, but they're gone now!

Long lost pictures! Our cellphone broke in half, and before giving it up for loss I got all my 190 pictures that were stored on there! I thought it would be fun to post some of the pictures...

I love this picture of Kevin-what a stud! Aunt Bre watched Scott, I was pregnant with Hailey and we ate dinner on Coronado Island, walked through the hotel there, and cruised around. I snapped the picture above on our way back over the bridge.

These are so cute because it just shows how much Scott wants to be like dad. Shopping around at Home Depot-Scott's favorite store. I'm sure they were taken in 2007 as well...

This one is my favorite! On the way to the Las Vegas airport to fly home. (I was pregnant with Hailey because I remember there wasn't much of a lap for Scott to sit on in the plane!). Scott fell asleep eating his lunch, but there was a fly in the car so in the middle of sleeping he would swat and say, "Shoo fly! Go home! Get!" Remember that mom!? We were cracking up!

Just this last November I put Hailey on this trike at the store and she loved it so much! She wasn't anywhere close to reaching the pedals, so we'll have to wait a few more years. She went absolutely NUTS when I took her off of it. Kicking and screaming and reaching for it...it was pretty funny

For Christmas Scott got this talking Handy Manny tool set. It came with tools that Scott uses, but it also came with a miniature set of tools for the little Handy Manny guy to use. Hailey always uses them and works along side with Scott. It is so cute- they are so tiny!

Today Hailey finally said a word other than "mom" and "dad". It was "hello?" She loves talking on all the play phones we have around the house.Not that it was anywhere close to being warm outside, but the kids went out anyways and this is Scott using his wagon as the trailer for his trike. We try really hard to get Scott to ride bikes, scooters, or trikes, but all he ever wants to do is pull his wagon around...so we compromised and tied the wagon to the back of his trike. He was in heaven of course!

Her favorite thing to do is push it close to things so that she can stand up and get things she's not suppose to! She's such a daredevil! Picture her holding the four wheeler handlebars but standing on the seat...it's so funny!
