Last day of school was today! In honor of that, here are the 1st day of school (left) and last day of school (right) for each of the kiddos. So crazy to see how much they change!! Wow!
Jay had so much fun in preschool this year and was quick to become everybody's favorite friend. He is just so kind to all the kids and so much fun to play with! I somehow missed the registration for next year and when I told the lady over the preschool she said, "Oh no! Well we love Jay he's our favorite! We'll definitely make room for Jay" lol
Arianna's reading soared this year in 1st grade and she had so much fun getting to meet new friends and go on exciting field trips! And loosing lots of teeth too! Check out the toothless smile! :)
Hailey made huge progress on her reading too! Her reading lexile went up over 300 points from when she started the 3rd grade. And here's some fun news...she told us she wanted to try out for a competitive soccer team this week. After 2 rounds of tryouts she made made the team! So more soccer here we go!
5th grade was awesome for Scott and we are so excited all the elementary schools here added 6th grade for next year so he gets to stay one more year. Also the teachers took the top few kids from each class who had done the most reading book reports written and online bowling one night this week, and Scott was chosen. They had to do 18 book reports and get a certain amount of AR points for quizzes on books read. By the end of the year he had done over 5 times the required amount of reading reports and quizzes. So he was pretty excited about that! Especially because he hates written reports so he really worked hard for that reward!
Phew! We made it through another school year! Where does time go!?
