One thing our family loves to do is go camping! Dad has been completely swamped this summer at work (think 80+ hours a week no days off in between weeks). Of course that didn't stop him from making a camping trip happen. So we did 2 nights at a place called Hollow Springs up the canyon. He worked during the day and then came up to the canyon at night to eat and sleep with us :)
It was our first time at this camp ground but it was beautiful.
We even made dutch oven pizzas, which Kevin and I were known for in our married student ward back in the day...It had been a while, but we didn't disappoint-the kids LOVED it.
My favorite part of camping is getting away from friends and having sibling time. It's amazing how well the kids get along when you take away friends, neighbors, toys and everything else lol

I also took the kids on a hike to kill some time. I think it ended up being around 3 miles but they did great
They tried fishing in the evenings with Dad but no luck. Still fun though. Anyway it was awesome! The kids are begging us to take a 3-4 day camp trip but we have yet to make it happen. We'll see if we can make it happen come fall.
