When your mind refuses a nap but your body disagrees

Friday we went to Bear Lake with some of our dear friends! I love Bear Lake! I don't know why we don't go there every week in the summer!
My family is all in Newport California this week, so it helped to ease the sadness a bit to dig in the sand and play on the beach. Not quite the beautiful sandy beaches of Cali, but good enough! :)
Ari surprised me with her paddle board skills!
We never saw Hailey and her best friend Tage. They would take off on the kayaks and then come beach them and go off into the water or paddle boards. Inseparable. So fun to have such a great buddy!
And Ari and this cutie Halle. They had a blast too!
All the kids just played and played all day! Then we stopped and grabbed some grub and took some pictures in these fun cutouts at Zips. Oh my gosh this one was the favorite of Scott and Tage! Hilarious!
I love summer! So much fun!
