4th of July

Where is this summer going?
Happy 4th of July!

We decided to try something different this year than the tie dyed shirts we have done for like 5 years now haha. The kids had fun doing their own little dots with paints (thanks for the idea Lana!)

We kept it pretty simple- parade in the morning, burgers, lots of watermelon, and of course fireworks :)

Since I had just gotten back from girls camp and was still recovering a bit, we skipped the car show this year. We did some small fireworks and all our neighbors did a ton of big ones- so we enjoyed staying up late celebrating!

It was a fun day! 

And a great time to think about all of what a privilege and blessing it is to have this free country! And a shout out THANK YOU to all the military men and women who have served and continue to serve for our freedom and for the police force who risk their lives every day to keep are communities safe!
