Hailey the morning of her big day
One of our mom-kid traditions we have always done is that I go to the school on their birthdays and either bring them their favorite lunch, or take them out. They usually choose to get out of school and go out to lunch. :) Hailey picked noodles and company. And when we told them it was her birthday they even gave her a free cookie! She was pretty excited.

I also let her pick any restaurant in the entire valley for dinner, but she wanted my beef noodle bowl which is fettuccine, broccoli, carrots and steak tossed in a sauce. Scott was wanting pizza. He said she has had beef noodle bowl every year on her birthday. lol What can I say? It's her favorite!

Opening presents time!
She got a lot of fun crafty things she always loves. Kevin and I got her a desk for her room to do art as much as her little heart can desire. It was all set up in her room (moved from a previous room where we were hiding it) So we wrapped up a mini stapler and a few other things and told her that we were saving the best for last. She opened them and was so excited about her little stapler, she had no idea it was a joke.
She was confused when we told her they were clues to her actual present so she jumped up and ran downstairs

We stayed up late starting to put her little things away but it was time for bed. She begged and begged me to let her stay up and draw a portrait of her cousin Mia (picture on her new magnet board) but I told her she would have to wait until morning.
She didn't stop smiling all day! What a fun day!
