Oh what is there to say about Hailey? Just that she is a complete delight to have in our family! She keeps us all laughing and smiling and is just the essence of joy and happiness. This year she has been talking up a storm like just today with her balloon she said, "I'm going to pop this open like a soda can!" LOL. She got to play soccer this year and start preschool. She loves to color, loves princesses and barbies, and loves reading-especially bug and animal books. She loves taking care of everybody, especially her little sister. She also loves to sing and dance...she'll have us all go into her room to watch her show and she'll dance to music. Oh and I don't know if I wrote this before- but she was such a cutie for the primary program at church and memorized her part which was how reading the scriptures makes her feel and she said, "Reading the scriptures makes me feel like Jesus and want to be good on Earth." She also did great at singing but at about the 3rd to the last song she fell asleep while singing (even standing up). Oh my goodness it was hilarious! Everybody was making jokes that I kept her up all night practicing. Hailey- we love you to pieces! Happy 4th Birthday!!
Dad had to go out of town on Tuesday for the week, so we got to celebrate on Monday.
We played at home, baked her birthday cake and she got to choose lunch which was Wendys of course- nuggets and fries and chocolate milk :) At first she wanted a Cinderella cake, then it was a Mermaid, then it was a girl riding a horse, and finally she settled on a butterfly :)
Hailey loves art and especially painting, so we had a family painting party at the local pottery cafe. After looking at everything she could paint, Hailey decided on this tiny little high heel
Ari wouldn't accept anything else she wanted to be just like Hailey and kept yelling "shoe! shoe!"
Scott picked a rainbow
Then back home for cake, ice cream and presents!
It was so adorable it took her like 20 tries to blow out 4 candles! Here's the video
On to the presents!
Hailey loves barbies...can you tell? Look at this face over her very own barbie car from cousin Mia
One of my favorite expressions of the night
Dollhouse that's been hiding in the attic since the neighborhood garage sale this summer (15 bucks!)
Along with the dollhouse we got her a set of 3 barbies. Scott got her a set of pink tools to work with him out in the garage and Ari got her cheer leading barbie clothes.
Here's the cute video of her opening up the barbie set

It was a fun day!
