Oh what do you do in the Summer time? :)
There are lots of frogs in our backyard, but still I don't know how Hailey always manages to catch them
Notice Hailey's normal summer attire- she even wears her swimsuit when we go for bike rides- pretty cute
On the last day of preschool last year Scott got to take home his tiny little sprout in a styrofoam cup. We planted it in our garden and now it's almost as tall as him- so fun
Such a cute picture of Scott too. Yesterday he said, "Mom, you are MY little love bug" because I'm always calling the kids my love bugs.
We had to sneak into an elementary playground for the coveted shady playground, but it was worth it. You almost can't even play outside during the day here- it's just too hot

The kids bring squirt bottles to keep cool and Ari loves to try to squirt the water in her mouth (but usually misses)
My parents took the kids to the fair while they were here, but since it was so hot they didn't have any rides going during the day. They wouldn't stop talking about them until we finally took them one night last week

They had fun looking at the animals and riding some of the rides-plus they got to stay up late so that's always fun :)
After 113 degree weather with over 80% humidity, we are welcoming with both arms the rain storms that have been going on for the past 3 days- heaven!
