Ari's 1st Tooth

Look who finally got her first tooth! (the other two got theres a full 4 months before she did) Hopefully that means they are good teeth

Arianna has been feeding herself and it is the most adorable thing ever. Of course she is limited to only "puffs" since she doesn't have chompers
For those who don't know, Scott is obsessed about being a "construction guy" when he grows up. He wants to build houses and it's a good thing because he's pretty good at it. The 4 rows that come out in the front he says are mailboxes for the houses.
I finally have a jetted tub (and still haven't gotten to use it) and all three kiddos can fit inside-fun!
(don't mind Hailey, she's just an actress)

Colorado Trip and Arriving in Missouri

On our way to Missouri, we stopped in Colorado to visit Grammy and Kevin's family. Here's a peak of what driving on a road trip looks like for us....Scott and Hailey watching a movie and Arianna staring at us
Hailey and her cousin Amanda doubling up on a trike
While we were in Colorado, Ari learned this new trick- pulling to stand up against things. Look at those adorable little legs- too cute!
One thing I have to do every time we go to the Springs is visit the zoo, and it's mostly to get up and personal with these guys
I love how Hailey has her tongue out right along with the giraffe
Not technically part of the zoo, but the kids found a tiny baby mouse
By the end of the morning Ari was out!
Don't be frightened by the mean faces, the cousins were pretending they were pirates. Hailey and Caeven get along so great together and they are so much alike! They both LOVE Cheetos, dancing, making mean and silly faces and chips and salsa....like two peas in a pod!
Cute picture of Ari with Grammy
Every time she got on the phone and was holding Ari, Ari would look up at her and watch her in complete concentration- it was adorable
Grammy even found a pool for the kids to swim in! So cool

This was after Carson did a cannon ball right in front of Cathy- soaked her completely!
Scott jumping on the tramp
We had so much fun visiting! I wish we could have stayed longer, especially to support Carson and Lana with the health struggles Lana is going through- we are praying for you guys!

After Colorado we had about a 12 or so hour drive to get to Missouri. Since we had never taken the kids to stay at a hotel, we thought that would be fun- it was!
Just one example of why we had to get a GPS before our big move...
Opening the door to our new house
Stick bug that lives in our backyard
The house we bought was a short sale and for that reason it was very very dirty and needs a little work. We also decided to add some wood floors and new carpet, so we delayed getting our "household goods" for a week to get some remodeling done. I'll show you before and after pictures, but Kevin still has to put the trim back on all the walls that he took off for wood. We have all been working really hard and are exhausted!
Scott of course loves to work
Since we don't have our things it's been interesting trying to be creative with meals and such. That didn't stop Hailey and I from making brownies though
Ari trying to do a headstand
I enrolled Scott right away in preschool and he started on Monday. They do all day kinder garden and 5 day a week 3 hour preschool here-crazy. He has been loving preschool every day and talks about it nonstop. One day after school he decided to build this table for him and Hailey to eat their lunch on. He's so cute. He talks nonstop about how he is going to be a construction guy who builds houses when he grows up
That's it for now since our internet is still not up and the library is about to close!

Packing Up

We are all packed up and are stuff is on its way to Missouri!
This is our 6th move in 8 years and the first time we got to sit back and let them pack and load everything- awesome!
The kids playing hide and seek in all the boxes before they got loaded, can you find their tiny heads?
Hailey's room all packed up and ready to load. The kids have been doing really good. They were super excited about moving and bouncing around happy while everything was packed and loaded
The entertainment for the night since everything was packed up. The kids loved camping out in their empty rooms
Saturday was so crazy trying to finish cleaning and get on the road. Finally I decided it was better for Hailey to help me and make a mess because I needed to finish other things. Hailey loved it of course, and I think it's important for Arianna to have memories with Hailey that don't involve tears. Haha
No seriously my mom can attest to this- Arianna swats and screams anytime Hailey comes near her!
I love the expression on Hailey's face- she looks so proud
Once we got in the car Scott said "I'm kind of a little sad because I really really liked this house."
This is seriously the cutest thing I've ever seen! As we were getting things done, to get Scott out of my way I handed him our old camera and told him to video tape our house before we leave it. Our old camera quits all the time, and of course it had to quit right when he got to his room! So mad! Still it is just adorable!

Now we are headed on our 21 hour, 1362 mile treck to our new home- (stopping in Colorado Springs for a visit of course!)

"Look how good I'm getting!"
Arianna is also pulling herself up to things now too- so cute

Trip to Rexburg

We took a trip up to Idaho to visit my grandparents this weekend. I'm so fortunate to have both sets of my grandparents living, and definitely wanted to enjoy their company one last time before I move so far away.
My mom was out there visiting too, so that was fun!
My uncle Rob has a beautiful pond right in his front yard, so he let the kids go fishing
I don't think I've ever had so much fun fishing in my life! He didn't feed the fish, and boy were they hungry-they were jumping out of the water and everything
Scott caught a fish and was laughing hysterically the entire time he reeled it in

This one is awesome! Look at their faces
Hailey had so much fun fishing and even caught one of her own. It was a gory hook, and after blood splashed up on her and grandma, she spent the rest of the time looking for flowers (look at her face-hilarious)
So I have to tell you a story... when Kevin and I first started dating I took him out to this same pond and he could not catch a fish. I caught 3 or 4 and he stayed at this pond until like 10 at night trying so hard and never caught one. I had bragging rights for the past 8 years :) I made the comment that he was coming back for revenge, and boy did he ever! They call this fish "Moby Dick" and it was about 5 pounds!
Grandpa Rydalch was holding Ari between his legs trying to adjust his hat to fit her...Grandma was worried. These two are so sweet. You can't find a better example of a marriage than this (60 years of marriage!) They are so sweet to each other, and I asked my Grandma if they have ever got into a fight. She said, "Yeah, once I got so mad at him when he left I threw a loaf of bread at him" Soooo funny!
Kevin and I have no clue where this girl got her personality from! We were both super shy little kids, and Hailey is the most outgoing kid I've ever met in my life
Grandma Lill has had a drawer toy box at the very end of her hallway for as long as I can remember. We played in it as kids, and each of my kids have enjoyed it too- check it out
Scott (10 months old)
Hailey (7 months old)
Ari (7 months old)
We had a great time visiting!
This week the packers are coming Wednesday and Thursday and the movers on Friday. Then we are off to Colorado on Saturday- crazy week-I can't believe it's here already!
