It seems like we've been gone all summer, but really we just took all our road trips in one month! We don't have the luxury of living close to family, so we have to make trips to see them. For Labor Day weekend we drove down to Colorado Springs, Colorado to visit Kevin's family. It was a 9 1/2 drive and once again- amen to dvd players!

Scott loves animals and had so much fun taking Majeke for a walk each morning.
We also got to go to the Colorado Springs Zoo with Grammy, Aunt Brittney and Caeven. Our favorite part is always the giraffes because you get to feed them!

Another feeding frenzie was the Budgie Buddie exibit. They give the kids a stick with bird food on it- so much fun!

Kevin and I also got to go on a date while Grammy watched the kids. We went to dinner, grabbed some icecream and then got to go to the Colorado Balloon Classic. They do it every year and hot air balloons from all over the country come and "light up" at night. It was awesome! Very romantic! Thanks for the fun date babe!

Colorado Springs is famous for the Garden of the Gods which is a lot like the Red Rocks in Las Vegas except green! It's beautiful. For Kevin and his brothers it's a place they can go drive their rock climbers. You can see how much bigger dad's is compared to the one Scott was driving.
