Hailey turned 12!!!
My kids are all so funny about birthday parties! They just like to keep birthdays simple with family, but this year I talked her into it! Yay! She had her party on Friday after school (day before her actual birthday). She picked out lama stuff and some treats, and we decided to do a baking party.

Tage, Hailey and Noah all match because they are in student council and had presentations this week :)
They played games and then each had their own double layer cake to decorate. They had so much fun and were very impressive with their cake decorating skills!
We gave them boxes to take them home too. It was so much. They had a blast!
Then on Saturday it was her actual birthday. We took everyone to Jimmy Johns (Hailey's choice) for lunch and then just had a fun family day together! Then did presents and chocolate cake.
She got a bunch of crafy things and some patterns to make doll and barbie clothes. She loves designing clothes for Ari's barbies and sews them up. It's pretty awesome!
Hailey is such a delight to have in our family. She's the glue and light that holds us all together. She is such a peacemaker and always doing sweet things and little acts of service for everyone in the family. I call her my shadow because she's always with me, which I don't mind one bit. Her Grammy calls her "Little suzy homemaker" because she loves to sew and cook and do crafty things. She's also super excited to start babysitting! Kids around here start when they are 12, but Hailey's been babysitting under the table long before then. :) She's still a baby whisperer as we use to call her, and little kids are drawn to her.
